About us

Hi, my name is Sherwin and I'm an award-winning mathematics lecturer with over 10 years of experience in teaching maths and stats at all major universities across Sydney.  

I've had a passion and curiosity for maths since childhood. This led me to completing the HSC Advanced Maths exam when I was 13 and the Extension 1-2 exams when I was 14. The next year, I started my degree majoring in advanced maths at Macquarie, and would go on to graduate with first-class honours. Following that, I completed my PhD in applied maths at the age of 25.

I prioritise both my students' academic success and their deep understanding of the subject. My goal is not just to help them achieve high scores but to ensure they truly grasp the concepts. At the same time, I emphasise effective exam preparation, balancing theory with practical strategies. My lessons are carefully designed to support both aspects, helping students excel with confidence.
