Classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 12 students. This allows lessons to remain interactive and gives students the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual feedback.

The program is primarily designed for students entering Year 11 who wish to complete the Mathematics Advanced or Extension 1 syllabus before the HSC formally begins.

Year 12 students are also welcome, although some modules may be revision depending on where they are up to at school.

Students should ideally have a solid foundation in the mathematics studied up to their current year level.

The goal is not to rush students through the syllabus, but to teach it efficiently and logically.

By completing the content earlier, students gain additional time later to revise, consolidate knowledge, practise past papers, and refine exam technique.

Students receive:

• Lesson recordings

• Comprehensive class notes

• Practice questions with solutions

• Ongoing support outside class

All lessons are recorded.

Students who miss a class can catch up by watching the recording and working through the accompanying notes and questions.

The first lesson of every module is completely free.

If a student wishes to continue after the free lesson, payment for the remainder of the module is required upfront.

The total cost depends only on the length of the module. Regardless of the module, classes are charged at a flat rate of $25 per hour.

Most tutoring centres follow the same pace as schools.

This program takes a different approach.

Students complete the entire Mathematics Advanced or Extension 1 syllabus before the HSC formally begins, allowing the HSC year to be spent strengthening understanding, improving exam technique, and practising past papers.

Many students complete the syllabus at the normal school pace and still achieve excellent results.

However, understanding the content is only one part of performing well in HSC Mathematics.

The most challenging examination questions often require students to combine ideas from different topics, recognise subtle patterns, and apply concepts in unfamiliar ways. These skills are developed through extensive practice and exposure to a wide variety of problems over time.

For this reason, I believe there is a significant difference between learning a topic and mastering it.

By completing the content earlier, students gain additional time to revisit difficult concepts, work through past papers, refine exam technique, and develop the problem-solving skills needed for the most demanding questions.

The purpose of the Early Completion Program is not simply to finish sooner, but to create more time for the revision and practice that lead to genuine mastery.

Perhaps the greatest benefit is peace of mind. Rather than constantly racing to learn new content while preparing for assessments, students have the time and space needed to consolidate their understanding and approach examinations with confidence.
